
Fraud Line Whistleblowing Services is delighted to announce the successful implementation of the pilot whistleblowing platform and the development of specialized interactive online training material for the Ministry of Education.
The project was carried out in close collaboration with the Strategy and Coordination Directorate (Department of Technology Monitoring & Policy Development) of the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT), within the framework of the European Innovation Hub digiGOV-innoHUB.
This initiative aims to bring the Ministry of Education into compliance with Law 4808/2021 (prevention and combating of violence and harassment in the workplace) and Law 4990/2022, which regulates the protection of persons reporting breaches of EU law, enhancing transparency, accountability, and a culture of integrity in the critical sector of education through modern digital solutions.
A central element of the project was the development of a secure, confidential, and anonymous reporting platform that allows employees and associates of the submit confidential or anonymous reports on incidents of violation of legislation, as well as violence or harassment.
The platform provides the Integrity Advisor of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs with the
ability to comprehensively manage reports, ensuring the absolute protection of whistleblowers and full compliance with the regulatory framework. At the same time, guarantees secure and two-way communication between the competent bodies and the persons making the reports, while maintaining confidentiality at every stage.
In addition, online training material has been developed, linked to real challenges and needs of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, with the aim of informing, raising awareness, and empowering users on issues of EU law, as well as on the prevention and handling of violence and harassment in the workplace.
The project is being implemented through the digiGOV-innoHUB Innovation Hub, which supports the development of new-generation public services for the Central Administration, Local Government, and productive sectors of the economy, utilizing advanced digital technologies, and is coordinated by EDUTE.
The contribution of the Directorate of Strategic Planning and Coordination and the Integrity Advisor of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, as well as the Directorate of Strategy and Coordination of EETT, which actively participated in the Hub consortium and provided institutional and practical support for the successful implementation of the pilot project.
Through the implementation of this pilot action, Fraud Line Whistleblowing Services confirms its commitment to developing reliable digital tools that enhance transparency and integrity in public administration and the private sector.
